Default Telemetry Hitec ( optic sensor RPM )

Hi guys
And for the past three weeks that " try " to use this optical sensor, but there is no way ! ( Sensor recommended for use helicopters )

I contacted the Safalero phone , told them the problem and they said they never received reports of this kind, ( strano. .. just enter the keyword on google and similar problems leaving enough ) I was advised to send an email with explained the problem , but I never received a reply !

But let's get to the problem:

Positioning , by the book .... the tail boom of my Trex 550 ...

Now : the optical sensor Hitec , * NOT work properly with artificial light / closed , okay we can stay ....

The optical sensor , * NOT work properly with cloudy weather ( and is also reported in the manual )

The optical sensor , * NOT work properly in full natural light condition (if they are at the camp in summer or with a sunny day I do ?)

(* For the NOT function properly refers to values reported unpacked and inconstant to 1000 rev / min)

The optical sensor WORK properly in a precise manner but in the shade on a sunny day !

Test carried out with a linear pitch curve at 0 ° and Throttle Normal 0 / 100

I tried to move the sensor in other positions of the helicopter , but the result sometimes
considerably worse !

Now I wonder .... but what the hell sensor ? What is the use if it does not work in normal use ?

This might be better answered in the Hitec forum.

The biggest problem with all rev counters is the flexibility of the boom ..ensure there is no flexing or vibration and your problem will in all probability disappear.
