I'm kind of happy I learned in a restricted space, when I went outside I felt like I have more control, what do you think ?

I decided to go with mCPX BL blades on the stock mCPX...
And the mCPX BL is running130X blades Both are experiencing a fantastic increase in lift, without the motor bogging that I would have expected Amazing how well the Xtreme 130X "yellow" main blades match the optional (green) mCPX BL canopy...almost like they were designed for it Stock mCPX BL Main Motor - Tail Motor (XP7A - Flashed w/BLHeli Software) Blade mCPX BL 150mm solid carbon fiber tail boom Blade mCPX BL Canopy Xtreme 130X Main Blades MicroHeli mCPX BL CNC Aluminum Full DFC Gold Head & Swash Plate Astroid Designs Carbon Fiber Rear Swash Guide Cybertronic Hobby's mCPX BL Silicone O-Ring Kit Astroid Designs mCPX BL CF Boom Support Kit Astroid Designs Upgrade Tail Wire Harness Astroid Designs Carbon Fiber Frame Cage Lynx 47mm White Tail Rotor - Astroid Designs Streamlined CF Tail Fin Stock Black Landing Gear w /black O-rings reduces the spin effect and cushion the takeoff and landing |

Really, I did that same thing a year or so ago and my results were quite different. My mcpx could barely lift off and the BL struggled to flip. I cut the 130 blades down to 120mm or so and that worked great on that BL. Stayed with stock blades on the mcpx and then finally gave it away to a new flier. Traded the stretched BL to a friend for a 130x. I still have a BL (with missing parts) that I intended to get flying but now that I'm flying the 180cfx I'll probably get rid of it too. Still have a very fond spot in my heart for the BL and always will.

Wow that's really odd...if I didn't know better I'd say you have a pos/neg pitch problem...
I've had great results switching blades "up one platform size" nCPX to mCPX mCPX to mCPX BL mCPX BL to 130X Every result has been great...increased lift with zero motor stress |

Gotta watch out for toolboxes, the John Deere, trailer, log splitter, etc. (for the record, heli's do a great job of removing cobwebs from inaccessible places) Yeah, when I can fly outside, it's great!!! Not being so tense all the time is very cool. I'm usually grinning like a little kid when I'm out there.
