Hurricane just blew in!
Just got my Hurricane from SubTrim on e-Bay. (broke-again here) I got it two days earlier than expected. From Canada no less! The size is perfect for me and it looks much, much higher quality than I expected. I think I'm going to like this thing.
I'm going to start tearing it apart and going through everything the Finless videos covered. The links are very tight but I bought a crap load of Raptor links and rods so I'm all set in that department. I'll size them as needed. While it have the frame split I may pull the bearing shields and give 'em a shot of lithium grease. I used to do that on my cars waayyy back when I used to race. I do it on my T-Rex too. For the price I paid I'm more than pleased so far. I plan to take the build slow so maybe weekend after next for the maiden. Joe

Joe,
Glad to hear that you have a new addition to your immediate family and glad to read about your enthusiasm. I now have about 37 flights on mine and the more I fly it the more I like it. For my own personal tastes, I think it is just the right size as Goldilocks would say. So, keep us poasted as to your progress. Carl |
