Futaba 7C Lipo Question
I bought a 3s transmitter lipo for my 7C. The way I figure it the 9.6 volt pack that came with the transmitter would actually be about 8x1.4volts = 11.2 volts fully charged where as the lipo would be 3x4.2 volts = 12.6 volts fully charged. Is this too much voltage for this transmitter? Thanks for any input.

I have a 7C that uses a 3S, 2500 mAh lipo and it works great! Nothing like 10 hours of run time before recharging!

Thanks for the info guys. I thought about charging to the storage charge of 11 volts but that kind of defeats the purpose of having a lipo in it.

get a life pack...lipos dont like being stored at full charge. They lose 20% capacity per year at full charge. Life packs dont care and can be deaply discharged and Have a lower voltage.
Hyperion 2100mAh TX LifePo4 pack...thats what I use. 10 hours run time no worries. |

I also use LiFe batt from HK, but only at 1800mah.
The question is, how low can I discharge this battery? I think this battery is rated at 3 - 3.3v, so I can use it until 9v. Is it correct? What is the lowest working voltage for 7C ? |
