You might want to take this to the Goblin section.
Anyway, figure out what headspeed you would like. Maybe take a look in the manual to see what SAB recommends.
Then use Mr Mels headspead calculator to find out which pinion you need with the kv of that motor. The motor itsself isn't that important for the headspeed, it's the kv value that dictates how you need to gear in order to get the headspeed that you want.

Not a Goblin expert, so I don't know the headspeed range, but this works about the same for every helicopter.

Depends on the pinion and intermediate shaft teeth ? More information ?

RPM = kV x (3.7V x # of cells) x 0.9 (efficiency) / gearing = RPM at 100% towards the end of the flight.

Assuming for example 20T intermediate gear & 22T pinion (and 12s);

Gearing = 9.27, so RPM = 610 x 44.4 x 0.9 / 9.27 = 2629rpm at 100%. Most govern to around 90-95%, so around 2360-2500rpm.

Correct but take into account that dont need to set it that high if you dont want to. Head speed is sort of a guidance and a do not exceed reccomendation. You can always fly lower and conserve energy and make it the collective less sensitive if you wish.

Just my 2 cents, when I started out I set all these recommended head speeds thinking it had to be at that RPM. It wasnt until a few uears later I discovered you could run anything below it and it would be alright.

Very true. I've also seen a goblin 570 kick some ass at 1750.
