How you now have it is correct, so the top ball joint is in the center of the head with the links at a angle. to have zero delta the arm ball must be in the center not the links straight....

If you look at the posts 5 and 11 in this thread it shows v1 on post 5 and v2 on post 11...Hope this helps....
