Ade is sponsored by BlinkTrading (UK Outrage) and one kit is coming direct from Helidirect/OutrageRC specifically for use in the UK 3D champs in three weeks time. It was too good an opportunity to pass up as it's a very popular event in the UK. Several of us are also demoing G5s at the event

Rumor has it that perhaps the 550 heading east over the Atlantic may be the "lite" version ! I could be wrong. Kind of a "inside" joke.

Thank you Mr. Caldwell, about what I expected.
This new 550 should be the front runner in the class if it isn't priced to terribly. I've been researching all possible choices for a 550-class heli and there is somthing about all of them that just isn't right for ME. I'll wait for the Outrage before I make my choice. |

Well, I have to ask: What's parts compatibility with other helis going to be like? I have a great heli-centric LHS but I doubt he'll stock Outrage-specific parts.

Is the kit going to include the same painted canopy you guys have been flying in the vids.? I love the red & orange colors and the graphics scheme with the checkered flag!

I knew was some underlying reason that I failed to pull the trigger on a Logo this week. Looking at this heli, and knowing how well I like the up in the airflow, rear mounted motor like my Raptor E-620 has, and the "through the bottom frames" battery mounting setup, I think Ill patiently await the release of this sweet looking heli.
It is so much easier to change motors and adjust the pinion mesh with this type of motor mount.. I can use my 5S packs while I try and improve my flying skills with a Scorpion 4020 1100 or use my Z-Power 30, 1100 kv in this heli. For some reason the excitement of knowing that I have a new heli coming, or a fishing trip planned, makes things better and keeps my outlook positive...I sure dont want to do anything that will mess that up now do I? |

Im going to have to fly this thing on 5S packs at least for a while. I already have a bunch and I have new Outrage 4200 5S coming. I cant fly good anyway so Ill have to make do with them for now.
I wonder if the initial stock will cover those of us that want one now? I wish I could pre=order one. Jimmy |
