I can only suggest a call directly as probably the best way to find out. The team was disbanded earlier this year, that might be a clue as to what might be going on.

I still have an ENV that I absolutely love, so I've thought about trying to get an answer to this question as well, but frankly I'm afraid of the answer.

The real answer to this question is still unknown. It sounds as though Curtis has moved on into AP work with quads using his own design.

The official answer from CYE if you email seems to always be that they will continue to support the product lines. But then when stock levels drop everywhere so often, and retailers drop them altogether, you start to wonder. Also they are no longer represented officially online anywhere.

It doesn't look good to be honest.

I'm flying my RAVES as long as I can. I have a spare 635 kit w/blades. No spares for the Ballistic but for now it is doing fine. Have a couple canopies so I'm good through IRCHA. Putting together electronics for a new build.

I too am going to fly my Raves as long as I can. I have quite a few spare parts. Although I could always use some more. Both mine are basically new condition.

I'm thinking 766 12s. Should get a good look at it next week. Getting excited about IRCA. Haven't built a new heli in awhile. X5 was my last build and it's a nice heli but i like the bigger birds more now. My biggest is the Ballistic with 710's.

Cool !! I was just looking at it. It looks very nice. Built to last.

I have to build my Synergy E5 and I have a Protos Max 700 V2 comming.

I plan to keep flying my Ballistics. I really enjoy the 635 and the 700. I just put my 700 main shaft etc. back in and oiled the one way. I will take it out today and test it. They are a joy to work on.

Here's to hoping that IRCHA will shed some light on the parts situation and the future of these nice helis. I want another one but wont do me any good if I cant fix it when needed.

I'll let you guys know if I find anything out at IRCHA.

Leaving MD tomorrow around 0630. 9+ hour drive. Pulling a Harley trailer with golf cart and equipment. Golf cart is white and has Cigarette Off Shore Racing logo on the front of it. The back seat folds down and I have a board clamped to the flat bed part with skid clamps for 3 heli's and room for a flight box.

If any of you guys see me give me a shout.

Well this is rather disheartening - obviously we have no word about the future (or lack thereof) of this heli line. Miniature aircraft let people know what was going on, and so has Thunder Tiger. It sure looks like the writing is on the wall but it would be nice to hear about whats going on from the man himself.

Had a great time at IRCHA. Tuesday flew all day and the rest of the week I flew until noon and then watched the pro's. Video's don't compare to seeing some of the best fly in person. Spent Sunday at the field flying with my group all day. Hardly anyone there.

Don't want to steal the thread so..........

Saw one other RAVE 635. So there were at least 3 at IRCHA with my two.

The guy was from TX, flew on the team years ago and didn't know any more than what has been posted on this forum.

This is what I am going to do. I will continue to fly my RAVE heli's with the parts I have and when I can't fly them any longer I'll swap the electronics out to another bird. I feel I have sorta gotten my monies worth out of them. Unfortunately I didn't sell them last year, now they are basically worthless.

Can't imagine what it takes to stay in the face of consumers with new products and upgrades year after year after year. There are just too many brands out there and some are also quality machines.

I agree, it would be nice if Curtis said goodbye and thank you. I have enjoyed the short time I have flow his products. Guess it is time to start flying with that new spare canopy I've been saving.

You should open one up build it and fly it. You cannot put backorder's on The CY Hobbies site.

I have to say the lack of any official word and the seeming unwillingness of the company to make a proper statement I think I'm selling mine. It's a shame but I have a bnib ballistic, a flying ballistic, and another one in parts, with spares left over. I think I'll be putting the lot on eBay very soon. I've fancied a logo 690 for a while so think it's now time to jump ship.

Dam this stinks. My ENV is my favorite bird and to think one crash and its done. I'm sure some parts would be around for a bit. I have a feeling we are all gonna be flying ALIGN soon. Not that they are bad at all its just nice to have other birds to try.
