Only 35 pilots pre-registered. My chances of winning look pretty darn good!

When will the drawings be held?

shhhh! that's what I was thinking!

Since I'm posting here again, I'll aske yet another question.

I see that there are different flight lines for different styles. What if you don't have a style? I just get it up there and try to do some stuff without crashing. So if I try to do a big loop at the 3D area will I get booed off of the field? Of if I try to get inverted at the sport area will I get told to head to 3D?

I guess I'm asking, what is the etiquette?

I'm totally new to all of this, and just trying to figure out how it works...and where I should try to camp.

You take your heli, go up to a pilot station, keep it from flying over adjacent pilot stations, and do your thing. Cheering will ensue

Camping is primitive as far as no power or direct water hook ups but there is water available for filling / refilling holding tanks.
Complete bath house on site – even with hair dryers hanging on the walls next to the sinks. 2nd bath house on the property as well. (some of the nicest facilities you will see!)
Food vendor will be there Friday & Saturday as well as Saturday night serving dinner.

Pets are definitely welcome!
One more "camping" question. Coming from Virginia with my trailer, will there be clear direction as to where to park if I arrive on Thursday?
Thanks for any info.

Are there going to be any vendors on site?

Yep, you shouldn't have any problem figuring out where to go. Just follow the road to the very end.

Greg and I are headed south tomorrow morning. This will be my first trip to Triple Tree, so I'm excited! Can't wait to see everyone; safe journeys to all!

Just as a reminder, we ask that noone arrives before Thursday. Triple Tree had a full scale fly in this past weekend, and the crew are working hard this week on repairing the grounds from the full scale traffic. Thanks!

Anyone who is not camping, what hotels are you staying? I'm trying to find one that has stuff to do within walking distance so my gf can keep herself occupied if she decides she is bored of helis.

Default general advice please. what to bring?

I'll be coming Friday afternoon, and camping Friday and Saturday.

so, I've done a lot of camping, but I've never been to a funfly before.

after you went to your first funfly, on your way home you said to yourself, "man, now I know to always make sure and bring (blank)", or "I am sooo glad I had plenty of (blank)". what are those things you make sure you have with you???

any and all responses welcome and appreciated!!!

A quiet generator full of gas, clothes and shoes for every extreme, and anyone who knows me on here can tell you I'm never without my camera!
