Default Trex 450 Clone Setting Pitch

I have a Hauser 450 which is a trex clone. I'm trying to set the pitch but in normal and stunt mode can only get it set at -3 and +13 with no more adjustments on my ball links. I read on another thread about using swash mix to set the pitch but I really couldn't understand what they were saying to do. I am hoping someone will be able to explain it better or give me a link to a video or another website that can explain how to use my swash mix to set the pitch. Also, wouldn't using the swash mix mess with my servo alignment? Still new to this and everyday is a new adventure. Thanks for the help.

Hello i have a hausler 450 se v2 kit I'm building and I'm on this step right now ill see if i can help you out.

Make sure you disconnected your motor or remember to use throttle hold
Go into you swash mix setting
Find your pitch mix
Put your throttle stick to the lowest position
Play with the % until you get the pitch you want at low throttle stick
Put your throttle to the highest position
Play with the % until you get the pitch you want for high throttle stick

I'm using a dx6i
my setting is
Aile -65%
Elev -65%
Pitch +15%

Im getting +3 on low stick and +7 on high stick

I hope this helps you

eh, you guys need Finless Bob vids, center servos @ middle stick and 90 degree horns. Should end up with +10 and -10 or close to it. I'll see if I can dig up the vids for ya. Watch the ccpm vids http://helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=41692 and servo install 1&2 http://helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=132747 don't fly your bird with +3 and +7

Oh no don't get me wrong +3+7 is set for hovering practice. And i do have -10+10 when i set it up for 3d fight. Should of said the +3+7 is for HOVERING. The reason i said these setting were its easy to learn on and he said he was new.

I remember the first time i flew a 3d heli pulled down on the throttle and BAM sent it right into the ground, The +3 on low stick should keep you from slaming in the ground. Setting were gotten from John Salts book.
