Another pilot here in Norway use a 7HV canopy on his G4, so I knew it would fit. Ive heard that the Rave canopy also fits and looks really good on it. Ive also heard from a Team TT pilot that Thunder Tiger is making a new shaped canopy.

No way!!! Now I've just gone back and looked at it, yes it's a 7hv canopy.

Guess what my G4 is sat between right now?? 2 7hv's. I've also got 2 spare canopies.

Here is a pic of mine. Still working on it but sweet

In this pic.I had to buy some spacers and longer screws to fit the motor to the heli. when the Scorpion 4525-520 sits on the motor mount, the pinion only hits half the main gear. (not good)
So I went to Ace Hardware and bought these spacers to raise the motor. Worked really well

All you have to do is flip the pinion over and create a new flat spot on motor shaft.

I have also heard you can just flip the motor mount over.

i did flip motor mount. it will not work if you still want to use the tail servo guide. i also tried fliping pinion. i just did not like grinding on the motor, so i opted for the spacers it is very solid

Matt, watch for increased motor temps with that. The bottom of the motor acts as a heatsink so by reducing the surface area you reduce the ability to dissipate heat.

How's the 7hv coming btw ?

The Helis are very different to fly,but i like all Helis.The E720 responds very well on pitch and you can fly very smooth,But even tough he is good to fly.The Goblins are powerful machin´s and makes a lot of fun.Präziese and fast.

I like the E720 and the Goblins.They are my favorite Helis now.And i had very mutch Helis...
