Mines bang on 100 with Align DS610 servos.

It will be different depending on the servo as some will move more or less for a given pulse width.

Mine is 94 with BLS451 and Spektrum Sats. I measured it with the "expert option" without pitch gauge. Looks like it is in the ballpark.
I don't think it differs from one radio brand to the other, instead it is more the swash link geometry that matters.
Has anyone played with that setting? You could use bankswitch, put 95/100/105 in each bank and see how the ship behaves. Might do this once the winter gives up here...

Thanks friends

I have recently tried a new setup on my E700 w/vbar. I set my cyclic 8° to 11° instead. Then I turned paddle sim completely off. Flies great!

Hey Wess,
How did you get 11? When I max the cyclic slider I only get about 9.5 degrees. I must be going about it wrong in the vbar.

I am too. What is your slider at in the set up tab? is that where you made the adjustment? I have my agility at 110 and I'm not close. I'm just wondering if all you did is slide the slider and hit measure to get the 11 degrees. Like I said I'm at 105 for 8 degrees and can't even get to 11.

Yes, that's how I did it. Where you measure the cyclic to 8°.

using an RC Logger digital pitch gauge, I zero it out. Click measure and then move the slider until I get 11 degrees. My cyclic number is on 109.

I'm having some issues with the tail during climb outs. It kicks some degrees.

Equipment being used:

- Stock Nick Maxwell motor
- YGE 160HV Mikado OEM version
- MKS HBL980 tail servo
- Rail 116 mm tail blades
- VBar V5.3

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

What headspeed? What's your gain setting? Take a screen shot of the tail main menu. Are you running Pro Software?

Turn the P and I both up to 80. You guys are going the wrong way. The Raptor has a very low tail ratio. Run the P and I at 80 and the tail will hold like a death grip. I have the MKS 980 on there and run the head at 2100 and the tail gain at like 78. Stock horns. No wags ever...

The vgar gov gain I have at 30. Collective add I had at 20 and collective dynamic at 15.

I know Nick uses the same setting on the tail of his too.

V6 of Vbar the gov settings are quite a bit different. V6 is amazing how much improvement Mikado made to the control loop...

I already have the P and I gain at 80. 30 for gov gain, 20 for collective add and 15 for collective dynamic. So, exactly the numbers you're referring to.

What's your collective pre-comp values at?
