The best I've been able to come up with.....is the stock canopy....with the KBDD pink ribbon decal from the pink blades I bought for it!!
I'd really like to find a commercially-made pink canopy of some sort.....I'm trying to outfit my mCPx and mCPx BL with pink "accessories" for Breast Cancer Awareness events....
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
TIA!
Happy Flying!

Hi - came across this area while browsing around, as I was thinking about my wife and the hobby. Anyway, coincidentally I was also looking at canopies yesterday for my helis and came across this: http://www.topcopter.com/mtdr-cpx-p/102p.htm

Enjoy!

kenko.....
Many Thanks!
IIRC....the stock mCPx canopy also fits the mCPx BL... so I MIGHT be able to outfit my BL in pink, too!!
Once I get everything together on my CPx and/or CPx BL.....I'll post some pics!!
Thanks again!

I keep wondering what would happen if I took a blank canopy into a nail salon and let an artist go to town with it. Or maybe I should be looking for an airbrush artist.

Either way the results should be interesting.

As for a pink canopy without spending a stack of 20s, you could do what I did with a Fusuno canopy. Get a roll of painters tape and scissors. Then carefully mask off all the sections you want to keep. Dont forget to cover the inside of the canopy too.

2 light coats of spray can pink and a coat or two of clear will give good results.

Heres the canopy I did. Just a single coat of white and it came out glossy enough so I didnt bother with a clear coat.

Nice canopy.

I was referring to the usual cost of having a canopy custom painted. Its usually over $100.

This company has some pretty sweet canopy's and fuselages for the mCPx and the mCPx BL , I have one and it looks fantastic and it's not as heavy as it looks.
