6S-22.2 Batts

Hi 500 members, I just got my 6S-22.2v batts for my 500 in from over there it took forever even wth the faster ship money paid, got the dean's installed and went to charge them up, 2 charged up ok I think -- 1- when I hook it up the charger shows 5s reading the # of cells and will not start the charge, does this mean one of the bal wires have come unsodered up in the pack or is one of the cells dead?? also what should full charge V be on them, and should I use the 1c rate of 3amps to charge?? I've had a bal wire come off on several 3S- 11.1v packs before and Very Carefuly got to where the wire was broke and fixed, I know by cutting off the conn that came on the batt I cant send it back and it would be cheeper to just order another batt if this one is gone than to ship it back for a refund. Full charge should be 25.2 volts.

Thanks George, I'm starting to think it is my charger, I just read across the bal plug and I have app 3.4V per cell with a total of 19.8V on the batt showing 5S on the charger, I did fly it (the batt) yesterday till the timmer said it was time to land, the charger I have is getting hot when I try to charge one of the other good batts that are showing 6S on the display, the chargers are not real good ones even tho they will charge a 6S batt, but all I was charging were 11.1 3S batts so I probly need to get a better one before I can tell just what is going on, Thanks again---Wrench
