Man, that's cold! Any performance issues with the cold batteries?

Batteries are fine because I keep them warm in my pockets but rubber parts will stiffen a lot in cold weather. Canopy grommets are so stiff that it is difficult to remove the canopy without breaking it and you can hear from the video that too stiff dampening rubbers develop cyclic wag in pitch pumps.

I wear very thin liners and fingerless ragg wool gloves on top of them. They feel a little bit clumsy at the beginning but one gets used to them quicky. I have even replaced a couple of tail belts, feathering shafts and main shafts in -16 degrees with those gloves on. Tiny 1.4mm screws make the task especially challencing .

I have to try that, although it may not be this winter since it has been unusually mild.

Default Gaui200 flybar in the garden

After 2 years, finally have decent enough control to fly in the garden. The key for me was using the V120D02S with gyros turned way down... make the Gaui 200 flybar seem easy...

No 3-d, just some relaxing circuits in the garden. Available in HD

This thread has been so quiet so maybe I stick this video here as well...

My EP 200 V2 is almost four and half years old but is still running strong as ever! I will definately keep for a couple more years if there are still spare parts available. I don't understand why Gaui has never bothered to create a 'EP200 Pro' with Bobby Watts style tail, beefier landing gear, CNC tail boom supports and a DFC rotor head. It would be a perfect all-around heli!

What a beautful flight!
When I heard Gaui was going to discontinue the bird, I stocked up on a ton of spare parts...
