Flight And Thoughts of Sonix Head & Tail
No huge difference in flight characteristics between the Sonix and the eFlite plastic. Nice looking setup though. There were some minor issues like having to flip the tail rotor grips and the fly bar not fitting in the main head. For some reason my tail wasn't holding very well either. Needs a couple of tweaks that I will undertake when I have time.
I just uploaded the vid so it may not be fully processed yet and the quality might be low. If so, give it a little while and try again. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dK3DVtBbm00[/ame] |

Nice flying
One problem I had with the Sonix tail was getting the grub screw to grip the shaft properly. Apply a little pressure and you might find you can slide the tail blade grip assembly up and down the shaft. This caused similar issues to what you're having. Your blades looked a little tight in the grips, like mine always are, because I can never be bothered filing them down enough. I tried white Align carbon blades instead of the 325Pro woodies, but they were even tighter as there are no plastic bits on the ends, so you can't file them down at all. Dusty
