Nice heli Fusion... yours was a conversion from the 255 right?

This thread really says it all doesn't it. The Gaui needs to be more popular!

Still waiting for the one I ordered to ship

Yeah its a conversion, or bling out
I like my motor the best. Got it direct from scorpion
was a hassle, but it was worth it.

Also I did some mods to the frame, larger frame posts
than stock.

Metal end tail supports are from cnc hobby.com
canopy is from heli direct, I think there still on sale for 15$

But the logo is custom, they say hurricane 255

Thrust bearing's function is, covering the excess of leinght of the standard shaft, give help to the shaft's bearings (me too I think they are a little underdimensioned).
Yes, the motor is the Scorpion 2206 - 3900KV (14T pinion).
I bought the 2208 - 24 (3590KV), but I'm very satisfied with the 2206 at the moment.

I think they are very good, but you should have the Castle-Link to set the gov in the best way. I like "set RPM" mode and the gov gain adj: IMO, they work very well on my 255, my 200 and my TREX 250SE. My CC 25A ESCs have an "old" hardware (anyway, I was able to update the FW at the last version), with a 3A linear BEC: that's good for a little flybarless heli.
I recommend this ESC, but the 18A GAUI one is a good ESC as well.
I don't know the 22A GAUI, but it seems it don't have the gov function (reading the instructions) ...

Many thanks to those who have post their pics, still not seeing as many pictures as I expected and no videos. I though this heli was more popular

What is everyone's opinion on places to mount ESC? My one is on top the battery plate and I know that is not the ideal place but there isn't any heat being transfer to the battery and it balances out the heli really nice.

yeah the scorpion rebranded GAUI is great. It actually came with the kit, along with the "new" blade grips.
Well there is not much to "show-off" mine. Only few customizations.. But I'm still proud. I'm satisfied with the performances for now.
You guys must have hell of great performances..

I would be really interested to know the setup of eDek... Maybe it was all stock?
