Default White bushings and VBAR gain questions

Flew my TDR a bit last year after i built it, but never really got to dial it in. Power was good, high speed flight was exhilarating, but the tights manuvers left a lot to be desired. The overall roll/flip rate seemed to be there, but it seemed to hesitate starting in to either. I assumed it was mostly due to the black bushings. So i switched to white bushings, two black o-rings per side.
First question is, what did people specifically notice as different when they made this swap?
Secondly, i have my style on my 600 set to 80, and for some reason close to 100 on my TDR, so i put it back to 80 as i love the way my logo flies, what does everyone run for style, and for what reason (what point value does what stuff better?)

Last, what main rotor gain is everyone using. I had mine down to 70ish, but looks like most run about 90 if not higher. I definitely like the locked in feel of my logo 600, and i'm running 94 on it.

Thanks ahead of time for the info and happy flying!

I'm flying a TDR with black bushers and Mavrikk G5 710 blades.
I'm quite happy about this configuration and feel my heli pretty quick on cyclics.
Try to rise the agility; my TDR woke when i did it...

Attached my bank settings:
bank 0 for 1450rpm;
bank 1 for 1650rpm
bank 2 for 1850rpm

I did not changed any settings after replacing the bushings with white.
I think i have main gains from 70 to 90 or so, higher for lower RPM.
Maybe it could be more, but it is working fine for me.
I lowered the style full down, i think it is 40, about half year ago, also set 10 to paddle sim.
I wanted the heli to be bit more sharp.
I run expo on TX side, i think i have around 18% there.
(sorry, i am not flying much recently, bad weather and mood)

hmm, maybe its the higher style number i had in there that was giving me that odd feel around center. I like it to be pretty nimble around the centers, save a bit of expo. I would assume the agility would mostly effect the overall flip rate, which seemed fine for me.

Also, i forgot about paddle sim, i'll have to check my numbers on that one. On my logo 600 i think its either 10 or 20, to give me the same feel as before paddle sim was added as a feature. Honestly, besides the overall more "connected" feel, i liked 4.0 just as much. I do love the fact that i can do fast tic-tocs now, where 4.0 seemed to never allow me to do so due to the latency.

I do not think the Style affect agility much, but the first 1/3 of the stick which is used the most gives the feeling from the heli.
As i progress, i lowered the Style and lowered expo, i had i think 25 for some time, then 20, now 18 + style change.
I did not liked paddle sim on the TDR when it is 20 or higher, i have a feeling i loose precision a bit, but i wanted the it to be a bit more sharper, so that is why i have 10 (or maybe 15, not sure, i did not looked for some time or had the need to change anything).
Same thing with the setup parameter for pitch pump, i have 0 there.
V4 was very good, until i tried V5 and found it is even better.
But still, i am not able to do fast side tictocs like pilots on some videos, but it is more in the hands then in the heli (the TDR is not built for smack, but is able to do it if your setup and hands are up to it)

Very informative, thanks. Makes. Sense now as the first third of the stick was what felt a little weird and my style was higher than my logo. I'll try it tomorrow and report back.

The white bushing make it react quicker and not pitch in fff.

Run your cyclic gain as high as you can without wobble on sharp cyclic input.

Style i always end up near 100.

I always find vbar a little slow so in cyclic setup instead of 8 deg try 10-12 deg you might like it!!

well between the white bushings and dropping the style a bit, feels like a different heli! i think it mostly had to do with the bushings, as i only changed the style about 15 points.

Much faster response, on inputs, and no slow rock in a hover. Looks rock solid now.

Really having fun with this thing now!!! Also, didn't seem to effect high speed flight at all, though i don't go as fast as some. If your thinking of going to white bushings for better all around flight, especially some tighter stuff, go for it!!!

I had help tuning my from a guy that have been running vbar ever since the first version. He tuned agility, paddle sim and some gain and we got a good result I think. Also using white bushings, but with red o-rings (will change to black soon)

i should have also mentioned, i'm running two black orings with my white bushings, def a "rigid" setup. the red felt a bit soft for my liking. my logo 600 is very stiff, and i like teh way it flies. i'm guessing the stiffer the head, the higher your gain can be.
