Nope. Different method for the 130. Suggest checking its forum or product page.
130x. You can start here. http://www.horizonhobby.com/pdf/BLH3780_Gyro_menu.pdf David

Tail wag
Have been trying the new Mcpx Bl since yesterday, with fairly annoying wag. Went into Gyro on my DX7S changed from inhibit to on, Gear is the selected channel and changed 0% to -15%, then -5% with the same results, worse wag and sloppy tail in turns, tail sways back an forth. I am not sure if I have a bad gyro or some other defect, Will appreciate any input.

I had tail wag and found that reducing the gain only made the tail wag more slowly but with greater magnitude. When I increased it to about 25% it smothed out just fine.

Try -30. -50. -80. -100? . Report! Seems no one is trying lower gains and reporting result! David.

-50 very little wag but was to sloppy for 3D. I am at +50 and it is much better for me. At that setting it wags in a hover but I don't spend a lot of time just hovering. If you want the tail to not wag or plan on "scale" this is not the Heli for you. It states "advanced" in the description. This is a 3D helicopter. It holds great In backward flight and this a good test of how well the tail holds.

I'm going to start sweeping up and down the gyro gains using the same maneuvers and headspeeds. So far everything is great except for fast hurricanes where it'll oscillate at 25%. No blow outs or lead/lag. Going to try some lower values.

piro rate
would uping the gain get me a faster piro rate, btw that would be the only time it wags is in a hover, full collective funnels and this thing is a rock! Want some edge carbon blades and colored tail blades, and different cano options,by far the best blade heli out there.

This happened to me too. To fix it, I did what I have done a million times with the mcpx. Take the servo apart and clean the strips. Also, make sure the brushes that slide on top of that strip are straight and sticking out of the servo mechanics slightly so that it applies enough pressure on the strip. When I put it back on it centralized at start up and flew perfect.

Great info! So, if I want to reduce my slight tail wag, I should decrease the gain, right? So I would set the gain to something negative...Any suggestions on where to start?

DX8 gain for MCPX BL
Sorry folks, I think I clicked on the wrong "Reply" button before...anyway.
So if I have a slight tail way on my MCPX BL, I should enter a negative number to reduce the gain right? I undestand the range is -100 to 100. Any thoughts on where to start or should I just experiment?

Now according to your write up the dx8 would be at 0%.So. I have played with both, not really seeing a difference TBH. (Acting as if it were a 6i/7s and adjusting from 50% ..) I did set up TX and rebind. Can you make clear for us JR guys, much thanks, Brad.

Tried a lot of tail gain settings today, from -100% to +100% (with 0% = default). The tail actually held pretty good at all gain settings, esp in FFF. BTW if anyone thinks that a motorised tail is ever going to be 100% wag-free in a hover like a TT or belted tail, they will be disappointed imho. The main diff seemed to be the tail bounce-back. This got worse as you lowered the gains, and improved, up to a point as you raised them. So, for me, this so-called tail gain adjustment seems more like a 'Delay' adjustment like you would do on a conventional tail gyro. The sweetspot for me (min wag in a hover and min bounce-back after a hard stop) was at +80%. I'm going to stick with that for now. Great little heli btw! Cheers, TomC
