Any one try these outrage 600mm CF blades from helidirect?
http://www.helidirect.com/carbon-fib...0n-p-16911.hdx
I just ordered some to try out. Im not looking for a stick bangin hardcore 3d blade and not expecting it to be par with radix or other high end blade, but how does it fly? It is only 47 bucks and I will only fly mild 3d, piro flips and tic-tocs being the most. With this cheap blade, it will defintly bring my crashes down alot of money if they are a good blade. I will also defintly be painting them bright orange or get some stickers.

I bought them, ran them on my Aeolus 50. Very stiff, light and all round good blade for $50. Tracked bang on first spool up and balanced perfectly. Look dead sexy too. Should be a great 3D blade IMO.
Can't do any better for the price for 3D flying. I have the identical 430mm blade for my 500 and their WILD for 3D. I frigged my first 600mm set due to a tail wag unexpected during a 3rd tank in the engine break in phase, so I got another set coming (split them down the middle like they all do, one at least LOL). Do note these blades are not Outrage, but a China blade they can be found all over on the internet if you look. http://www.goodluckbuy.com/600mm-mai...elicopter.html |

I tried the 550mm ones.. and they were really nice!.. and at around flight #4... I smushed her in. So.. not enough time to judge really... the sure broke nicely though... saving all head and servo parts.

Cough.. Mine didn't save my 500. lol I strip metal gear servos every time, break linkages, smash up my frame... I'll shut up.
LOL! My 600 got away with no damage despite nearly chicken dancing thanks to that wicked tail wag. Blades snapped, rest of the head/gears are golden. |
