Default Shipping a turbine

Hi
hopefully my 44 is sold.
Shipping this abroad.

I have no problems with wrapping stuff safely.

But how should I 'prepare' the engine.

Start the heli? Then run it 'dry'.
Remove engine. Carefully un-plimb, shake out any excess fuel not burned in the engine. Plug the pipes. Discharge the gas tank

Any other suggestions?

dont run it dry its good to keep things lubricated. just take the fuel and gas tube and join them together with a bigger diameter tube or a festo fitting this stops any small debris getting into the fuel/gas line and prevents any blockage. apart from that i would stick it in a plastic bag so any excess fuel ext stays in there and prevents damp getting in. keep the eletrics in a seperate bag and pack it all in a sturdys box with lots of polystyrene peanuts.
