Default Help with push rod length

I've started messing around with my mSRX again and I believe I've got the servo push rods all

goobered up. Does anyone know the stock push rod length so I can start over with

trimming this lil guy out? Or if someone has a really good flying mSRX just measure your servo

rod lengths, I would greatly appreciate it Thanks in advance.

Cheers, Dave

Easiest way is to adjust each rod until the swashplate sits level all the way around...

Thx Pfloyd, I will do that. I just want to get it hovering again as I haven't really flown it that much.

Default 27mm end to end

I just spoke to Horizon Hobby and the tech said the stock pushrod length is 27mm end to end.

So if anyone needs that info there it is.

Dave

Default msrx servo rod length 27 mm

Hi All: First post... I've been flying RC power planes and gliders for years but always wanted to get into helis. Got a Syma 107 as a gift and got the bug. Bought a H911 and then an MSR so I could use a computer TX. Just got the MSRX and I'm trying to sort out this left turn thing. After much fiddling I want to start over with the stock servo rod lengths.

Just to be sure: Is the 27mm length the overall length of the pushrod, as if you were placing the pushrod between the jaws of a set of calipers? IOW, it's NOT the measurement from "hole to hole" (center of ball link to hole in servo arm).

Thanks and this is a great forum, I haven't seen much bickering as I've seen in other forums. Very respectful members.

Helique

For the "left turn thing" search up the MM Mod. Essentially, you start with a level swash and raise the left side of the swash by a couple turns (looking from the tail toward the swash) and lower the front by a turn or so.

Be sure to adjust the links with full turn increments because the link ends have a larger opening on one side.

If you have a programable transmitter, compare the flight characteristics of the heli to the acro. I found out today that the msrx (well...mine anyway) likes the acro mode. Easy left turns seem to be smoother without the heli falling off to he outside. Some may scoff, but it comes down to what ever works for you.

ND: Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I've fiddled with the rod lengths so much I wanted to start over from the stock lengths. I'm going to try the Acro mode next as you suggest.
Thanks again,
Helique
