Default 160HV capacitor repair

Well like title says need to change the capacitors on the front esc as hammered the ground with me x7 today and curious if anyone has changed them before?

It's best to see what Castle will charge for a repair. Better to fix it properly to avoid disaster.

I just changed mine, pretty dang easy! But in saying that, depending on turn around time and whether you have something else to fly, it may be best to send it in so it can be tested as well. Plus it's super cheap to have them do the repair, I requested cap and throttle lead replacement , $15.00 and they test them post repair, of course. If you want to replace the caps yourself I can give you the digikey part # for them.

Cheers that would be good. Have been able to locate caps but not 100% if correct. Might contact castle see what the cost is, I also have to consider freight cost and time. Being in oz freight isn't going to be cheap and will take it's sweet ass time.

Then if it's capacitors only, just do it yourself! I'll post the part # tonight after work.

Ordered from Digikey as well. Easy to replace if you can solder. I put a dab of shoe goo to keep them from vibrating around as well. Edge 160hv, a little dented in a crash.
