Default When a Gaui 550mm blades? (Gaui X5II)

I hope Gaui realizes people wants to fly a 550mm Gaui heli, and have to buy the competition brands as Mikado, Align etc ...
Come on Gaui what are you waiting for updating the Gaui X5? or sell another Gaui X5II with 550mm main blades?

It's quite easy to make. But why?

My x5 has teh loading of a logo with the toughness of a gaui.

IMHO 550mm blades don't make much of a difference if the heli is light enough. my 6s x5 comes in at 2600g and my 12s one is at 2800g.

550mm blades are necessary for helis such as the 550u by compass, the agile 5.5, trex 550, synergy e5 etc. which are basically shortened 600s and weight around 3400g RTF. These are way too heavy for 520mm blades, unlike true 500 size helis such as the goblin 500, dt520, and the x5 which are all sub 2800g.

The difference in presence IMHO is marginal, but if you want to use 550mm blades, the belt drive for the x5 is long enough for them. or you can easily stretch with x7 parts. More floaty, but the x5 is pretty good in the float department anyway.

I have a Logo 400SE 472mm blades and wanted something bigger, a friend of mine has one Gaui X5 and it is almost the same size as my Logo 400SE
But certainly the X5 flys better in windy conditions.

You can stretch the X5 to run 550s. kkkklee on here has 2 of them. He might chime in if he sees this thread. I was flying with him last weekend and he said the 550s give too much lift. It's too floaty because the X5 doesn't weigh very much, even with a 5000mah 6S pack.

i totaslly agree. its way to floaty. i stretched mine so i could run cyclone 555. very easy to stretch it. just use all x7 parts. but i didnt like the way it flew, so after a crash i changed it back to stock config.

I would love to have a proper Gaui 550 size heli, something that I can use my 700's battery packs in.
