Default life question

Hi, ive been using 2cell lipos to power my hv setups on my helis for a year now with no issues.

The only issue is i hate having to put them on storage, so im looking at life now.

http://www.flightpower.co.uk/index.p...roducts_id=358

i have a hyperion 720isduo3 charger and it has LIFE but not A123?

So basically im wondering can i charge the battery in the link above with my charger,

And can i still use telemetry to tell me when the pack is low and its time to charge, or will the voltage just drop of?

do lipo/life hyperion battery checkers work with LIFE batterys e.g tell you a percentage.

im assuming a fully charge 2cell life is 7.2v?

And pros or cons i should know of?

Thanks

I have been running 2s Life for the last year. There really isnt a voltage drop off. The voltage drops slightly then fall fast. When you fully charge a Life pack you will be around 6.6v then I start to consider a recharge when the no load voltage is around 6.3. The best way to keep track is recharge a few times after 1 flight, get your mah used then add about 50 as a buffer and calculate how many times you can fly. I used around 400 (actual was 350) on my 600 with a 2100 Life pack. I calculated I could fly around 4 times before a recharge which was a day of flying for me. I keep a voltage display so I know the "resting" voltage when I plug the Life in, I am looking for 6.3v or more to fly. As for keeping the pack, I always kept it fully charged with no issues or noticable decrease in performance.
