The part where the linkages go from the blade grips to the swashplate or if possible a closeup from the part above the swash from different directions would be nice.
My problem is that i'm not sure if haven't lost some parts from that area in the crash because the head got torn apart pretty badly.. Too bad there is no complete building manual in the box , I'm beginnig to understand the people who say rtf sucks and you should build a kit yourself. Guess i would have it easier to repair if i had once build it from scratch...

Exploded view diagram
The best way to see the exploded view of the SR is to download the pdf of the manual from Horizon Hobby.
Using Acrobat Reader you can zoom in to get a good look at the areas you want. For parts of the head I did this then took a screen shot and printed that out.

Thank Q for the great pics! I just replaced my o-rings and feathering shaft and the help on this thread was great! I just didn't understand why E-flite would not include any step washers in the feathering shaft kit or the o-ring kit?!?!

I just wanted to stick my head in here and offer up a huge thanks to QueadlunnRau for taking the time to make those videos. When i crashed my heli, it was pretty tore up and my buddy was like 'now your gonna have to learn how to fix it' lol.
I actually am mechanically inclined but when it comes to helicopters i can understand that when your new like i am, your better off learning 'the right way'. So i've been flying with a bent tailboom for the last three weeks and decided that it was time to watch the tail dissassembly video. 30 mins later , i have a new tailboom installed easy as pie. Can i throw in a request for a 'getting 0 at midstick' video? Ok ill shut up now Thanks again QuedlunnRau!!! |

i have seen other stuff on setting up CCPM heads but most of them have set up the mixing after riging the head im wondering how would i go about re-riging the head with the mixing of the stock TX? |

I did notice that in the E-Flite SR manual, the page with the exploded view shows the blade grips in a leading position, not the trailing position as built from E-Flite, unless I'm looking at it wrong.

I just noticed this too and I have yet to maiden this thing.
Is it supposed to be leading edge or trailing edge control?
