Default Not enough positive pitch after micro heli power package

Since I've installed the power pack from micro heli, I don't have as much positive collective as I had with the stock head and swash. Is this adjusted by turning the links or could I just change the pitch sub trim in my DX-6 to fix it?

I would always adjust the pitch with the links. Are you sure you have zero pitch when your collective is at zero? Main gear all the way up?

No I'm certain the pitch isn't at 0 degrees at mid stick because in normal mode, I have to give full collective sometimes to keep it in the air and idle up its very noticeable. Not near as snappy. I have a new xtreme micro pitch gauge but I'm not exactly sure how it works

I wouldn't use a pitch gauge on a heli this small. Just power up the BL, choose a mode with a 0-100% pitch curve (preferably throttle hold), set the radio to 0 collective (mid-stick) and unplug the lipo. Fold the blades back over the tail boom and adjust the links until the blades line up.

I've never tried to use a pitch guage on my BL because the blades are so small.
You can get very close by folding the blades back and adjusting the servo to swash links to get zero pitch at mid stick. Then you can measure between tips at full throw to get equal travel positive and negative.
If it's zero at mid stick it's usually pretty close on both sides.
