Default Microheli swashplate

So tired of changing out the stock swashplates when the uniball gets so worn out it causes vibrations. After about 30-50 flights I have been restaking the uniball brass ring with a center punch to get more life out of them which works pretty good.
So, I figured I would pay a little more and get a Microheli swashplate. Boy was that a mistake, I received it today and the uniball is loose right out of the box and the swashplate bearing feels like crap also. That was money down the drain. Guess I'll go back to trying to fix the stock swashplates.

I looked at the receipt from the seller (Nexrc) it says I have 7 days to exchange, no cash refund and 20% restocking fee. I dam sure don't want to go to all of that trouble just to get another one of these. I'll just chalk this up to a bad experience and move on.

Go Lynx. Their parts are much, much better than Microheli. I have a Lynx swash on several helis that needed the stock plastic swashes replaced, including my 450X which has the same stock swash as the 450 3D, and it is a very nice part. I have hundreds of flights on mine and it's as smooth and slop free as the day I got it. Stay away from Microheli.

Thanks for the info, you live and learn. It only got worse today. I use a Tarot FBL head (with Robird G31) which uses the larger Align balls on the swashplate so the ball links wouldn't clear the microheli swashplate. I started to dremel the swash to give more clearance but the more I kept feeling the bearing, the more I realized it was just junk.

Its in the trash now!!! I'll try Lynx.

In my opinion, you should contact Kevin (Nexrc), he's good guy. You might receive easy refund.

I love Microheli products, although sometime receive bad products cause of bearing but they always send me a replacement.

If you try Lynx, post a review here.

Sorry to hear about your issue. Microheli swashes have been almost bullet proof for me. Get a free replacement before you throw in the towel. If you need help getting one send me a PM.

Thanks for the replies guys. As posted above part of the problem is not microhelis fault though. I have a Tarot head installed which uses the larger balls that do not clear the swashplate so I'm not going to bother them with sending me one with a good bearing since I won.t be able to use it anyways.
Some modifications payoff and some are a bust, unfortunately this one just didn't work out.

Can't you replace the balls with ones of the proper size??
Anyway, just wanted to chime in and say the MH swash for my 180 and 300cfx have been excellent. Better than stock in every way and I have used several MH products on several birds and they've all been fantastic. Everyone spits out a bad part in a run and sometimes a bad run of parts.

Don't be afraid to use them in the future as that's all I've ever used. Although I just got my Oxy3 airborne so I won't be using any MH parts there lol

Of course it doesn't need any upgrades, perfect right out of the box.

Hmmm, I'll have to check this when I get home. If the Blade ball link ends will screw on to the tarot PC link rods I could use the stock balls on the swashplate. Not sure why I didn't think to try that. In that case it might be worth contacting Microheli for a good swashplate.
