Default HC Rigid on Joker2 - Please help! :)

Good day Gentleman!

Helicommand Virgin needs your help

I have Joker2 that i use for AP and have just obtained HC rigid (but i still have a flybar)

I spent 2 full days messing with this gizmo and would TRULY appricate help now.
When i hover the joker nice and level i do the auto trim and she flies and hovers great. But as soon as i enable horizontal mode the heli sligtly drifts back and left like it is out of trim??
So, i am clearly missing something. The unit is at the front of the heli and i am using its internal gyro for tail as well.
The heli is balanced and flies superbly with it off.
No trims or subtrims used in radio , i did all trough HC software.

I have DX7 and both pilot and aux cables are hocked up and operational, so i can turn it off and triger autotrim.
Your help would be great but pics of where you guys stuffed the little board that comes with HC and number values for the settings would be super duper awsome
PS. Yes, i know , my wiring is disgusting ....
Thanx!

Vanya

why are you strapping the HC,? not needed and is not suggested if it is being pulled out of level and square by the strapping that will affect it flight characteristics, and from what I can see from your pic it is being pulled out of level

it is align velcro strap for safety. It is barely on there and not putting any pressure on the foam. Same result without it.

it appears that your HC is pitched forward in your pic, that will cause it to rear back in flight

i checkked with a leveling tool - it does seem to be tilted a a milimeter or so left but not forward.

is it possible to have different trims in normal and stabilistaion mode?
When i switch from normal to horizontal mode on the bench , i can see the swash plate assume a slightly tilted position??
And that is after autotrim in both modes...

Don't worry about what it does on the bench - behaviour will seem odd because the heli can't respond to the HC unit. The HC unit being slightly off level won't affect it, that's why you do the trimming! If it needed to be levelled precisely, Robbe would have made provision for that. Have you tried auto-trimming after having held it in a level hover while in horizontal mode?

Gtarling - i have tried to autotrim it in horizontal mode while flying - same effect - it drifts more in stabilisation mode then with it off !

I will watch that video now nightflyer

and thank you all for your input
