Default reset

I have a spartan quark and after a crash had to reprogram the unit and increase gain from 70 to 100 to stop a tail spin issue.
Flew this for 10 packs , adjusted the tail belt a little looser and powered up to find spinning tail in HH and rate mode. I did unplug the tail servo during adjustment of the belt.
Do I have to reset gyro settings in gyro each time tail servo gets disconnected?

Ok, this is strange I hope someone has had this prior.

I changed the whole tail of my trex450 SEv2 with a different assy., boom fins and all. Same results, and added a layer of servo tape and a layer of velcro, still the same piro hard right with tail and left with nose.

I then went through the initial set up after trying different values for gyro and servo travel gyro in a DX7 black edition.
Ended up on 30 for servo travel gyro top and bottom numbers. Set gyro Pos 0: 70% Pos 1: 40% Pos 2: 0%

Position 0 with 70% is holding well, position 1 with 40% not so well

So why would I have to go through all this when it worked for 10 flights over 3-4 days and then I adjust the tail belt slightly and it piros hard to the right @ 70% and even @ 100% gyro setting?

So previous to my rebuild 10 flights ago, I had 100 plus flights over a 8 month period and it never did this to me.

If I'm not mistaken, you adjust the tail belt by moving the boom in or out. This, in turn, modifies the tail trim so you should readjust the link rod to have around 8 degrees of pitch to the left (opposite to main rotor torque).
