Looks like a stretch kit, all the Goblin 500 parts in the 570 parts page. http://www.goblin-helicopter.com/sho...p?cPath=99_147

Sound odd that they see the need for a size between 500 and 630, and the fact that the parts are hidden in with the 500 parts indicate to me it's a stretch kit, not a completely new model. But what batteries will be optimal for a 570? That's really pushing it for a 6S setup, and at 12S, your looking at 3000 to 3500mAh packs?

Edit: maybe nice for 7S setup an share packs with a 770?

Well, I'm excited to hear more for sure

As Steve said, it wouldn't simply be a stretch kit if SAB did it. Unless you consider the Goblin 770 a stretch kit that is.

Not to be the odd one out, but if this is the new size they are bringing out, I am going to be so disappointed. The heli world is so ready for a 450 size. Please SAB !!!!

Default Goblin 570 in make

I would much rather have a 570 to share packs with my 700s.

That was my guess! I'd love to see the 550 class!!! Could run 6 or 7s 5000m... No need for 12s on that. I still think they'll do a 450 at some point but getting the parts n fitment just right will take some crafty engineering for sure.

No real reason to think we are getting one or the other, we might luck out and get both. If you compare the 630 to the 700 before competition version was released, there was minimal parts difference so I dont think the 570 will be a new design from the ground up, but the 450 sure will. Pluss we have had several indication that SAB is working on a 450 size, and that's a huge marked for them to take a part in, I think we are getting a 450 size soon for sure.

Searching for 570 results in the following parts...

- Tail blades 95mm - Goblin 570 [BW5095]
- Main blades 570mm - Goblin 570 [BW0570]
- Plastic Radius Arm - Goblin 500/570/630/700/770 Competition/Speed [H0205-S]

Hopefully it's just a stretch kit and not the rumoured 450.

Why? Doesn't everybody want every single heli of every possible size that could be made?

The 570 would appear to be the easiest to bring out with just a few new parts compared to the 500.

Boom, belt, tail control rod, and maybe full size servo layout and full sized servo canopy off the hop....

That's about it. Minimal development for a new heli and easy to keep under the radar compared to a completely new design...

When we look at SAB if this heli comes to light they really only have 2 helis...

The 500 frame with 2 different sizes original 500 and stretched 570.
The 700 frame with 3 different sizes original 700, shrunk 630, streched 770.

There has been an evolution of parts that cross many of the models with some variances such as the big belt on the 770 and sometimes 700 and the dampened tail first on the 500 then adapted into the new competition helis.

The 450 being a completely new design will likely be later in the year.

This is pure speculation based on available information and probabilities.

As stated previously we will only know for sure when SAB announces things officially.
