With Tim he makes you send the parts receipt and then if then you may get them at cost. Not to mention it takes him 6 weeks to do anything. I am normally not this critical but align as all but lost my trust and business. I have never spoken to Jeff so I can comment because that would be unprofessional but I feel bad for all those who have been loyal to align and they get no service of barely any at all. The sad part is that I still really enjoy my align helicopters that I have. (Specially my 700 f3c)
Hello Sarah

I apologize if I did not get back to you in a timely manner but I have never talked to you, nor did you call. I have only spoken to your "brother". My sales staff is really good at giving me messages for customer calls I may have missed.

I strive to provide excellent service. My usual turn time for RMA items is 2-4 days. You may also feel free to email me at tim@alignrcusa.com

Thanks for the feedback

I have no vibration problems in this moment.
What is the recommendation of the factory?
Will our birds should be grounded?

I run the older stuff, but can someone explain how changing the TT gears will stop the tail shafts from breaking? Do these gears reduce vibration? Do they somehow mitigate the effects of the too heavy tail blades? Am I confusing more than one issue here? Don't get me wrong, they look nice.

And I'm not trolling! I am very curious!

Add one more. It occurred in a vertical pirouette, after I had put it through some left right spins at altitude so I would have plenty of time to auto in. 10+ flights. Personally I believe it's a weak shaft. Now I'm also down 3 servos.

One, has anyone tried the 700N shaft with any success?

Two, all three servos are locked up. Any chance they are salvageable?

what happens when you power them up?
I've had some servos in the past that won't move by hand but worked great under power and radio control.
just be ready to unplug the power in case they are really seized, you would just need to replace the gears in that case.

two of them move under power, one doesn't. Prior to all this they could be back driven very easily.

Nice demonstration of how insanely strong the new TT gears are ... but how does this mitigate the snapped shafts?

I'd probably use the 2 if they run smoothly and center well, maybe just open the casing and inspect the gears, clean out the lot and re-grease, while you are cleaning you would probably notice and missing teeth or imperfections. When in doubt don't risk your $2k model on a $30 servo gear set. for the other that doesn't turn inspect the gears on that too but I'd bet money on you needing to replace the gears.

Hi,
What has happened to you happened to & lost my landing gear, side frame, one battery pack, main blads... I wish to know what could be the problem. .. Align should be careful not to spoil the brand personally love Align & it the best among what I have, for more then 7 years without problems as such ....

we neither want a step down on the tail shaft. there is no radius on that - makes it more likely to break

how many people have allready crashed their heli paied lots of money for this monkey design
including someone could get hurt or even killed

so bring a 6 mm shaft with a 6 mm tail hub and plasic tail blade holder with some slope or a design with dampening built in like the logo 700

AND if align in future has a problem with some design just come here and ask for solution because here we are professional engineers that know what they do
