Default Vx1e Tail issue

Vx1e on Synergy N5c TT tail bounces 1x in 360 degree right hand pirouette, tail overshoots in left hand 360 degree pirouette. When I increase gain it bounces harder on right piro and overshoots less in left piro. I'm looking to get the same results for left and right piro so I can fine tune the gain. Any suggestions?

Are you looking at CW & CCW Stop Gain?

The most common cause for that is not doing a trim flight. With v4 firmware it expects the tail to be trimmed so it's countering the rotor torque with the servo centered.

If that's a little off then uneven stop behaviour is exactly what you see.

If the weather is calm a trim flight is the easiest option. Failing that, set the tail gyro to rate mode for one flight mode, and use that as your guide to trim the tail pushrod manually so you have no drift.

Once you've done that, set your main tail gain where it needs to be in flight, with no chatter in harder moves.

And then use the CW and CCW stop gains to fine tune the stops each way.

There are more fine tuning options available, but generally that's all you need.
