Hi, I bought a used Jive 120 and it looks a little rough. The case close to where the slave cable plugs in is damaged. It looks cosmetic but I am worried it may not work correctly. Is it Heli Direct that we send them to for service ? I am tempted to buys new one anyway. But I guess I would have to send it in and get it tested before I would feel good about reselling it.

Helidirect is a KONTRONIK dealer, if you purchase an item from there you may consult with them if you have problems with your purchased item. As you purchased your item used, it would have to go to Germany for any repairs.

If your HELI JIVE 120 is working fine, and the damage is truly cosmetic I would see no reason to send. If you choose to send it in for a damaged case, this must go to Germany.

Thank you for the reply. I would just like to be sure. I am not at the point where I am assembling the Heli I bought it for yet so I think I should send it in for testing. Thanks again.

I packaged it up. Filled out the form. Enclosed the form in the box. Marked the box return for repair item. I am sending to Germany.

I was looking at the positive wire and it has corrosion on the end. I tried to scrape it off and it was still there. So I cut a little off, then a little more. I cut it a few times. The wire looks old? Why would it still be corroded? I cut about a 1/4" off. Didn't want to cut too much off because they are already shorter. Hopefully it will be OK.
