Default Walkera 2681V-D No Throttle

Hi,

I'm relatively new to this, and am building up a 250 class heli with generic parts and Walkera Radio gear. The config that I'm having issues with involve a DEVO 10 and a 2618V-D. I suspect that the 2618V-D has a bad Throttle channel.

After installing a motor in the frame and attaching an ESC/BEC unit, I wanted to spool up the motor to check the mating of the motor gear to the heli main gear. When I plugged the ESC into the throttle pins, then attach a battery, I hear 3 rapid tones and the RX flashes rapidly. When I turn on a TX, the rapid flashing slows, then goes out (No additional tones). When I move the throttle, NOTHING.

At first I thought it wasn't binding, so I went through the process of setting a fixed ID - NO Problem. Then I thought it might be the ESC. So, I swapped out the RX with 1002. When I plugged the ESC onto the throttle pins, and powered up, I got 3 rapid tones, rapid flashing led, and then single slow tone of the ESC looking for the throttle.

This got me to thinking (sometimes a bad idea). So, I go back to the 2618V, this time, I plug the ESC into the pins labeled PIT, right next to the THROT pins. When I attached the battery, I hear the 3 rapid tones, see the rapidly flashing led, and then hear the slow single tone of the ESC looking for the throttle. When I turned on the TX, the led goes out and I hear three more rapid beeps followed by a long tone. And sure enough, If I go up on the throttle stick, the motor spins up.

Oh, and If I attach the servos and wiggle the 2618V-D, the servos respond. The same when I move the throttle, all servos respond as if collective pitch.

Any ideas?
