Default How to test gyro?

Hi all. How do you go about testing the gryo on the BSR. It doesn't fire up at all. Is there a way to tell if it's the controller or the gyro? Thanks!

No light on the gyro? First make sure it's plugged in correctly and all the connectors are snug, and the wires are intact. Swapping out the gyro with another, maybe a cheapo gyro, would be a good way, if you have or can borrow the part. Then do the same for the Rx. Hopefully it's just a loose connector.

Plug a servo into it. Give some rudder or just shake it.

What's not "firing up"? The gyro not initializing? The tail motor when you twist the heli? Would be good to know how you're trying to test now to figure out why you aren't getting results.
