HeliMax 1SQ vcam won't fly
Hi-
Lost my quad in a tree late last fall. Waited perhaps a month for the wind ( whatever) to blow it down. Didn't fly it all winter. Now went to power it up and none of the motors turn. Thought maybe I had fritzed the board, had a spare, installed it and the props still won't turn. Tried to relink it to the transmitter. Nothing! The video light will start blinking when I turn the video on, but not a hint of ANY of the motors turning. The red LED on the board flickers just like prior.....just no motors. Made sure the motors were plugged in to the correct terminals ( I suspect if they were not correct, the motors would still turn, but the input from the transmitter would be incorrect. Any advise? Without examining it, it 's hard to say. But if it was outside in the weather for a month, most likely the motors have been ruined.
Does the motors spin freely? Unplugged from the control board, can you spin the motors by applying voltage? |

So...replaced the motors. Still won't power up. Ended up also getting a new main board ( process of elimination ). Still not flying. The only thing left is the transmitter. This is a stock one that came with the quad. Anyone know if these things can go bad ( I'm sure it's possible....it's full of electronics) ? I would imagine that a transmitter going bad from sitting around for a few months would be pretty remote but there's nothing left. Batteries are full up. Don't know. Open for suggestion.
