Question Raptor 90 3D stock plastic canopy clear coat painting ??

Hi all,
Just finished my New Raptor 3D sworn it's stock plastic canopy and applied blue adhesives. Looks very nice and what I'd like to do to protect the canopy and the adhesives too would be to spray the canopy with a clear coat (transparent) paint. In this way I'll avoid adhesives come off giving also some plastic protection from oil and fuel drops.
Problem is I'm not very keen on this particular material and I'm not sure which could be the good clear paint to use, not to ruin plastic and adhesives too.
Any one of you can help me in this choice ?
Any suggestion is highly appreciated,
Thank you,
Denis

Thumbs up

My suggestion would be to use an automotive grade enamel or poly-urathane paint with a flex agent. This is an additive to the paint that will allow for some flex without cracking. Its the same additive used to paint auto flexible bumpers. This is only available where auto paints are sold. Be sure to properly scuff the canopy surface with sand paper 400 grit and clean with prep-sol before shooting. Spray can paint is usually temporary at best. It most always will crack and peel. Hope this helps.!!! Good luck and post some pics.
