I was out flying my whiplash and lost one of my front thumb screws. I have looked around and haven't located any yet. Does anybody know where I could find some or some other thumb screw that would work.

Just search for thumb screws. Quick uk have them in many “flavors”, as well as rctimer.
Note, however, that if you lost a thumb screw then you probably have some vibration that you should identify and get rid off.
