Default Yep 45 with Lynx eox 6x 2222-1970kv?

I posted this in the x3 forum as well, figured I'd put it here. Anyone have some advice?

Have an x3 360mm that had the motor cut out on me a while back for a split second, had shelved the heli for a while. Recently, bought a new Lynx eox 6s 1970kv motor and intend to use it here.

This is the only heli I have that has a yep 45a esc in it. Does it have the oomph to drive this motor or, should I drop a hobbywing 50 or 60a in it? This is for general upright and inverted practice/transitioning, that kind of stuff. I'd have to go and check, but using a 12t pinion here to get around 2900-3000 or so by dead reckoning as I am running flat throttle curves

The point may be moot as it may be the esc that is the problem, but I don't want to pull it if I can still use it. And why stick a new esc in it when I don't need to?

It kind of fits the behavior of my EOX2214-4100 on 4s with a YEP40. What sorted it for me was auto timing under special features on the prog card.

The motor specs says 40A cont, so I don't think it will be a problem if you're not doing really hardcore stuff...
