What's going on with the 500L?

I have always wanted a 500L and price just dropped on them. I want the frame motor combo

Edge 75 esc

Ikon fbl
I'm going on to use the ikon gov. I'm also looking at the Upgrade tail grips. Just wondering what the part situation will be in the future

I just picked one up for $360. I'm not too worried about parts support, Align seems pretty good about older helis, but if you are really worried, might be good to just think about the 470 instead.

That's good stuff you have for using on a 500L. You won't regret getting a 500 and there're must be thousands of them out there so I can't see parts becoming an issue for quite some time.

The 500l is a great helicopter. Perfect size for taking to a baseball diamond, etc. Larger heli feel in a small heli package! The Trex 500 has been around forever, and I don't see parts supply becoming an issue anytime soon.

So true 600n you cant even take it anywhere. This is the first size that flies big. It can draw a crowd even at an empty field at 630am though. I just go the long way around then stand by the fence so if someone wants to bother me the easiest way is to stay behind it.
