If the goal was lower head speed, aside from being less efficient, will the stock 800 YGE allow running 12s?

Hi Wendal,

Yes it will. Kyle and I have flown the 800 on 12S for various trials and experiments along the way since the prototyping started back in early 2011, which is why we've had to argue quite often that for 3D flying, it's NOT a 12S heli. We learned (-:

But since I'm not a 3D pilot (sport flying only @ 1300, 1400 and 1500 head speeds), my 800 is set-up on the stock gearing (designed for 14S), using 12S, since we have so many 12S batteries around from the Logo 700, and it works great.
