Default Gasser conversion of 700 class Heli

Dear All
I want to convert my existing Trex 700E PRO DFC to gasser. Your guidance is required on following

1. What all parts will be required to convert and install OS GT15
engine in Trex 700E PRO DFC.
2. Any better option than OS GT15 ?
3. Will it be economically feasible to buy some other kit instead of converting 700E or get Trex 700N combo straightaway ?

Regards

I do not have a gas powered helicopter. I would like one however. Those are my qualifications on this. These comments are based on my reading.

The GT15 OS motor in not powerful enough for a 700 conversion. It may work well in Trex 600 conversion for which there are kits available. I do not know anyone who has a GT15 which is a great concept if it works.

Helibug.com has a variety of 600 and 700 conversions using the Zenoah R/C gas motors. The other place to look is "Gas Powered Thoughts" and the pages of Heli Pilot Magazine.

The thing is, you are going to be spending a ferocious amount of money. You need to make sure the stuff you are getting is actually going to work.

Hi. There are separate Gasser Helicopter and Gas Powered Thoughts forums, where you can have a good read on all the options. Both kit and engine etc, etc.

A number of the conversion kits are based on the Trex 700.
