Default settings for hacker a50-6s/cc edge 100

Need just a little help. Can someone give the proper timing and pwm settings for the hacker a50-6s?

I have searched....hacker doesn't make them easy to find.

Thanks!

I used PWM of 8khz and 15-20 for timing. Someone PM'd me representing Hacker on the otheRR site with these settings. The motor is an absolute monster so keep your eye on everything if you are flying it hard. I lost a minute of flight time and all electronic temps went up compared to any other 550 motors I have run (with same headspeed and pitch). Awesome motor if you are just looking for a very powerful 6s setup. Mine would regularly pull 4000 watts and ~200 amp peaks with 2500rpms and 13/13 pitch.

Here's what I ended up with for settings. The pwm was indeed 8khz, but I was advised that the cc controller should be set to low(0°), or medium(5°), due to how the cc controller works. Initially I had exactly those setting, 8khz and 15°, but the controller was throwing an overheat error and shutting down 5 minutes into a hover. I increased the timing to 20°, and the problem got worse, shutting down at 3 minutes.

I decreased the timing to 0°, and was able to get a full battery run, just in hover. However, the ESC was still toning an overheat code, but not shutting down. Apparently the cc controller has a 2 stage alert, much like their car systems.

I should mention that the ESC temp was a whopping 196°!! Not good at all....

My final solution was to replace the 100 with a new Edge 120hv, and since I have it installed between the frames on an old T-rex 600, I added a 50mm fan to help it keep its cool. After a full battery run without the fan the temp checked in at 135°, with the fan it dropped to 120°.

I am happy with the result. Just a contorted path to get there......

On the advice from CC tech, my final settings on the new controller are 8khz, and low(0°l on the timing. The tech said that they use an automatic timing sensor of some sort(I know very little about electronic things), and I should set to low for the most efficient system, medium if I wanted a bit more performance and could stand some extra heat.

I stuck with 8khz and 0°. It stays cool and runs awesome.
