Default 450L Case

What have ya'll found that has worked well? I'm using the wingtote, but I'm not particularly happy with it. I'd prefer something that just holds the helli...

The Align 450 case works great. I just cut out a little piece of foam by the tail area so it lays flat. And I slide the landing gear into the foam a little bit.

And you have to leave the canopy off like in this picture. But it packages perfect really. Can't beat the original. You can easily modify the foam to make it the way you like.

It can carry 8 batteries, the TX, Pitch gauge, Bluetooth, tools, voltage gauge and probably more without any damage to anything.

Tarot makes a 450 carry bag that looks good. They also make a dual 450 carry bag for two 450-480 size helis.

I had a 450 bag from Heli guard. It held my streched 450 pro without the canopy on, the canopy fit in the bag under the boom. I prefer bags over hard cases. They take up a lot less room and are lighter.

Does the tail stick out? Looks too long.

I was wondering the same thing, looked like the front was all the way in but the tail was too long for it.

I wouldn't call the fit 'great' but the Align 450 case can be made to work. I remove the landing skids (since I use the 500 skids) and the 450L fits with the tail just barely inside. I installed an extended vert tail fin and it fits with no room to spare. The radio is tight, but when it comes to packing, tight is good. Worst thing about the radio is that the trailing edge of the main blade can hit the antenna, but it hasn't deformed yet. If you don't mind removing the skids or modifying the foam insert, the 450 case is a workable solution.

I wonder how well the 500x case would work? not a bad price might be worth checking out.

I was thinking the same, I wanted a hard case for my 450L. When I couldn't find a good fit I ended up using my SAB 380 bag for transport, I can fit both the 450l & the 380 with room to spare.

Wow! Amazing deal on what looks like a quality case. It's huge for a 450 size heli though.

I use Tarot 450 bag. It is for 480 and 450L fit perfect and has a little space left (length wise).
