Still using Align servos on mine, if I were to swap it would be for a DS76t set to save weight.

Not bad, a little slower than the stock Align servos, but not bad for the price.

There's always a bit of a gamble buying cheap HK stuff, but sometimes it pays off.

I'm also on the hunt for some fast servos, and light servos, that's pops right in, at a reasonable price.

There's a couple of BB servos, i think the 180 uses them, not sure if it will fit nicely in the 250.

Also Spektrum has some h3xxx??? a bit unsure about the quality though

Again still on the hunt

I use Turnigy 212dmh servos on the cyclic of my 250. With a speed of .07 sec at 4.8v, coreless motor, metal gears, dual bearings and metal case with a heat sink, and they only cost $19 at Hobby King. They work great for me. Also use a Turnigy 306g on the tail.

They're a good spec, just heavy for me, I much prefer the way the 250 handles if you keep the weight down.

The weight doesn't bother me. I don't do any hardcore 3d so it isn't a problem. They are only a little heavier than the stock 415's but are much faster. The biggest thing for me is the metal gears. The ds76t is more of a tail servo. They are definitely light and fast but on cyclic the plastic gears strip too easy. The Trex 250 has plenty of power to handle the Turnigy 212's. My 250 performs great with them.

I guess it all comes down to personal preference. Everybody is different. I just have always had a good experience with Turnigy servos.

Have you tried these? How do you like them? If not, what did you go with?
Thanks

I tried them once on a Blade SR. They worked pretty good as cyclic servos. They are a clone of the Corona 933mg's. They center good and are pretty fast and are great for the price. The only major downfall that I found with them is the mounting tabs are a bit fragile. You have to be very careful when mounting them to not break the tabs. What I did was cut a small piece of 2 sided tape put it on the inside of the tabs, against the frame, and stuck the servos on first then put the screws in. The 2 sided tape gives the mounting tabs a bit of a cushion and prevents the tabs from breaking, as long as you don't over tighten them.

Overall, a good servo for the price.

Anyone running the TGY-213C? They are around 16g, about the same as the 211/212 and only a couple of dollars more.

The 213C is a very good servo. I have the 212dmh's but my buddy has the 213C's on his 250. They are very similar servos but the 213C's have a bit more torque and are better for 3d flying. When it's time to replace my servos, that's exactly what I'm going to get, the TGY 213C's.

I tried the hobbykings 933 on my 250 with mini vbar.they caused all kinds of cyclic wobble no matter the settings I used.servos would jump around in a hover.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll probably end up with a set of them.

For sure, we have been waiting for a fast, light weight(under 10 grams), coreless, full metal gear servos for the 250. You'd think they would of made one by now, but still.... they are just a tad too heavy.

The Spectrum 3050/3060H are also very good servos, and lighter than the big metal servos.
