I have built an HK450, a CopterX 450 and a few Align 450 SE V2's and there was a quality difference in each of them. The HK450's metals were really low grade and stripped easily, the Copter-x were mid-grade, and the Align was clearly the highest of all of them. Best bang-for-the-buck was the CopterX, in my opinion, because at least the quality was decent.

The point is that while they all look alike, the strength of the metals that go into these helis varies greatly. I would bet that's where the manufacturers cut costs and are able to pass on the savings.

I'm with you on that Fatdaddy, I hope the 600 doesn't have weak metals or we may be hearing some horror stories.

Default HK600

I hope we never see anything like is possible as a result a failure!!!!

944, I have some shafts and think I can spare one..Let me check, if not I think I know where we can hook you up...
That is the next thing to have made when there are no more at all. But I think I have a couple..

Default shaft

So you don't NEED the shaft to replace one?? With stock this low for everyone, I wouldn't mind helping you out if you were grounded but I'd rather not give up my spares so someone can build up their stock.. Hope you understand..
I'll still look to see where you can get them..

Default shaft

Yes they do!! I just went there to see if he had them and you also can get all the metal head parts..Keep in mind.. The plastic head uses the 5MM feathering shaft and the metal uses the 6MM..The main shaft is slightly different but it will work in fact I think that is what I have in my "E" now!!!
So try Lakeside Helis

Yeah, you'll need the larger feathering shaft for the metal blade grips.

Default "E"

That is correct!! However the metal hub is cheap enough and they have it at Lakeside so I would go that way!!
