Default Metal Main Shaft Bearing Blocks

Does anyone know what the difference is between the Align bearing blocks part number H45027 and H45027A? To me they look exactly the same? Thanks in advance.

I need to replace mine, so I was looking into this last night. I asked customer support at amainhobbies.com about the difference between the H45027 and H45027A parts, and their heli guy didn't know. That's a little odd, since they price the two parts differently (the A version is lower priced). If I had asked someone in sales/marketing I might have got a different answer than I got from tech support.

Some vendors charge the same for the two parts.

Align came out with the H45027 in 2009 and the H45027A in 2011, and their retail price is the same for both. I've asked Align about it through their contact link, and if I hear back I'll report what they say, if nobody has found the answer by then. I'll probably go with Amainhobbies, since their price for the more recent A version is lower than I've found elsewhere.

If I had to guess, it would seem that the A version is made of a different grade of aluminum??? Why else would they specifiy "6061-T6 Aluminum alloy material and CNC processed" I would think everything else "spec wise" would have to be the same, otherwise it would not fit a V1 Pro/ 3G Pro???

Just guessing here, thanks for the info guys!

I agree with you, speculation or not And I expect that's the answer I'll get, if anyone I wrote to replies.

The answer from Align:
"H45027AT is CNC processed"
I suppose the aluminum alloy might be different also, since they mention it by name in the A version description. But, in any case, CNC is at least one of the differences.

A Main Hobbies has H45027A for $12.75, as opposed to $13.99 for H45027, so I'm grabbing 2 of them and getting my heli back in the air
