I built a stock Gaui 500X with a FY-91Q GPS Controller on 2S Lipo
It flew great until I decided to assemble a dedicated camera gimbal and move to 3S Lipo. The unit now lifts off and, after a few seconds. the rear left motor loses power and the ship falls reversing on that side. If I start again, same story. I also put a BEC to avoid overload of the ESC, but nothing changed. The FY-91Q seems to work well (no malfunction LED on). Any suggestion? Thanks Luigi |

Is there any chance that one of your ESC's or one of the motors is failing? You should be able to swap motors and controllers around and check that through process of elimination.

I'm still new to this bird, but first thing I'd check is for bad bearings on that motor. Swap the motor position and see if it follows, that would be a good troubleshooting technique.
