Spartan "Quark" Overview and Setup

Just finishing the Quark setup but no flying yet. Just 2 Qs:

1. When I moved the rudder (left and right) the LED flashes...is this normal?.....
2. What is the value range for rate and HH in T8FG tx?......How to set the recommended initial value (30) on my T8FG?

Bob, your videos convinced me to buy one, so I took some pictures and wrote down my first impressions.

Basically..this gyro is awesome. No turning back!

SORRY TO BUST IN, I NEED HELP,
Having A Weird Problem With My Spartan Quark Gyro,
All Works Well On The Bench, But When I Spool Up Heli And Get Close To Hover (Light On Skids) The Rudder Just Quits And Then I Start To Spool Down And It Starts To Work Again !
Have Set Up A Couple Of These And All Worked Fine. Checked All Settings OK,
Rebinded After A Fresh Set Up. Have No Real Bad Vibration Issues, Actually My Hk 600 Has A Slight Vibration On Spool Up And Tail Works Great.
Tried All The Foam Combinations Listed In Manual, The Metal Plate And You Name It.
Setup Ely Q Vision 50C THIS IS A NEW BUILD, ALL PARTS NEW
Futaba 10CHG
OS 55
DS650 Tail
ACTIVE GY ACVS HH 35% NORM 35%
Rate And Heading Hold Do The Same Thing No Matter Where Gains Are Set, No Mixing Activated, Revo Etc.

What gain to choose to start off in the normal mode ....Idel up 1.....Idel up 2..... in AVCS mode.
